The Race For Love and Life is the perfect family event. Hosted by our supporters, all proceeds benefit Women’s Choice Network and Birthright to assure that little lives are protected.

The race is on Saturday, June 10, and starts at 10:00AM

About the Race

The 5k Run is an out and back course. It will start and finish close to the North Park Boathouse. While it is mostly flat, there are some rolling and gradual hills. The course is in the midst of beautiful North Park, and for the most part, runs along Lake Shore Drive.

The 1 Mile Walk route is also an out and back course and has the same start and finish points as the 5k race. Walkers will start about 5 minutes after runners. All walkers must be registered for the walk.

Race day check-in will take place UPSTAIRS inside of the Boat House. The Race will start at 10 am. The walk starts about 5 minutes later.

Awards will be given to the top 3 overall M/F & top 3 M/F in each of the following age groups: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and up.

Then Celebrate with “Queenie’s” famous Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, additional post-race fuel, and really awesome Gift Basket Raffle.
