The Covenanters had several families on vacation this week, but managed to have a hearty 12 out for this one, with seminarian Jason making his North Hills debut. Jason went 3-4 on the night, with the first hit being a 2-run triple to give North Hills a 2-0 lead in the first. New Life stormed back though, bringing home 6 runs in the bottom half of that inning. Jeff and the defense held on as the RP crew came back to within 1 in the 4th, which included a 3-run homer by Isaac. New Life pulled away over the next several innings, however, with 2 long shots of their own, and a couple more that bounced off the fence. Rain late in the game put a damper on the hit parade, but only after New Life pulled away with 7 in the bottom of the 7th. The loss drops North Hills to 4-6 on the season, with 2 games left before the playoffs.
