North Hills, bolstered by the one-game addition of 4 TFY players, started this one with a bang. Isaac hit a 2-run homer in his first appearance of the season, giving the Covenanters a 2-0 lead from the start. That was the only lead North Hills would have tonight though, as Gospel Fellowship knocked in 12 runs in the bottom half of the first and never looked back. For their first win of the season, Gospel Fellowship hit and hustled their way to 24 runs on the night, before the official forfeit after an 8-run 7th. Officially, the TFY kids went 1-3 on the night, with one walk… right on par with the rest of the crew, unfortunately. The highlight was a 2-run triple by TFYer Nate in the “playing for fun” 9th inning, to bring the unofficial final score to 27-9.
