There will be a Fellowship Lunch following the communion service on this date.

General fellowship lunch guidelines:

• Each family is asked to bring a main dish to serve 8-10 people to share.
• Those whose last names start with letters A-M [in April, June, September, November] or N-Z [in March, May, July, October] are also asked to bring a side dish or salad to share and letters A-M [in March, May, July, October] or N-Z [in April, June, September, November], a dessert to share.
  • We rotate through the letter groups every meal.
  • The May theme will be “breakfast foods.” Each family is asked to bring a breakfast-type main dish.
  • The September theme will be a Hawaiian luau theme.  Please wear your Hawaiian print shirts and dresses, if you have any, and bring luau themed dishes if you would like.
• The ovens will be on only to keep food warm, not to cook any food.
• All food should be completely prepared, cut, plated, and ready to be served.
• There will be people in the kitchen to receive food before the start of the 10:00 a.m. service.
• Please place cold foods in the refrigerator, and foods to be kept hot in the ovens.
• If there are special instructions regarding your food, please write them on a note and tape it to your food.

A schedule detailing which families will coordinate and serve at the lunches during 2024 is posted on the bulletin board near the coffee.  If you have been assigned a month and find that you are unable to serve, please arrange to switch with someone and let Michelle L. and Amy M. know.  Additionally, if you have not been assigned a month and wish to help, please contact Michelle L.  Thank you for serving our church in this way!
