Faithful Servant Award Recipient: Rev. James (Jim) Pennington

For the sixteenth consecutive year at our Support Dinner, we will honor one of our alumni who has labored faithfully in ministry throughout a lifetime of service for Christ and His kingdom. This year the recipient of the Faithful Servant Award is Rev. James (Jim) Pennington, a 1960 graduate of RPTS, whom the Lord has used to build His church. Following graduation from RPTS, Rev. Pennington served at over a dozen congregations around the United States and spent many years laboring in multiple congregations in Japan. He served the denomination as Director of Publications and Youth Ministries and also taught Missions for a couple of years at RPTS and at Kobe Theological Hall in Japan. Jim and his wife, Ruth, currently reside in Orlando, Florida, where he serves as an Elder.
