Two covenanting teams squared off on this night, and a new cheer was coined for North Hills – Go Covie Blue! (Thanks Ed!) The cheering started early, as Isaac doubled home Adam to bring in the first run for North Hills, matched by 1 from Grace in the 2nd. Adam drove home 2 more in the 3rd, and North Hills was down 2 after 3. Grace broke it open from that point on, however, as homeruns by Jordan and John P. helped them pull away. North Hills attempted a comeback in the 6th, as Isaac, Phil, and Daniel P. (in his debut) had clutch run-scoring hits. It wasn’t enough on this night, as Jordan (for Grace) gave up only 1 run in the last 3 innings to hold on for the Grace squad.
