Homeless Ministry

The Homeless Ministry Team works to:

• Join with other Christians in Pittsburgh to share the victory of Jesus Christ and extend practical help in His name to those without housing in our city.
• Encourage one another in personal service to the homeless.
• Engage our congregation in ministry projects serving the homeless.
• Grow in our understanding of the evils surrounding and within homelessness.

The Homeless Ministry is registered as a sponsoring church of the Light of Life homeless ministry in downtown Pittsburgh.

Past and Present Opportunities

• We have volunteers trained and cleared to work on site.
• Partnership with the Trail Life ministry to sort winter gear for distribution
• Clothing drive
• Volunteer at Light of Life in serving a meal
